One stop solution for EV charging station management
Site Host Dashboard is a comprehensive solution that empowers property managers to track, monitor, and manage their EV chargers efficiently. When ChargeLab's legacy dashboard proved difficult to incrementally improve, we undertook a complete redesign to create a more powerful and user-friendly platform. The result became ChargeLab's flagship product, driving consistent revenue through enterprise license agreements.

Problem
The old legacy dashboard was a static view-only big data dump that failed to deliver a good user experience or functional value, hindering user engagement and operational efficiency.
Lack of self-service
Site hosts couldn't sign up, onboard, or manage settings independently, relying heavily on manual support and engineering intervention.
Limited flexibility
Users faced constraints in setting prices, access rules, and charger management. Site hosts were requesting new time-saving capabilities.
Outdated visuals
The dashboard's dated design undermined ChargeLab's brand presence and reduced sales team confidence during demos.
Opportunity
How might we improve existing features, enable new self-service functionality, and ship a completely new dashboard?
Outcome
After being carefully tested, the new dashboard was launched in May 2022. We’ve got tons of positive feedback from the existing clients saying the new UI is so much better, and the sales team started closing bigger deals by demoing the new dashboard.
